Sculptures forming a constituent part of a collaborative project developed with Joanna Brinton, that explored the interdependent relationship between artistic and ecological collaborations, networks and place. Generated between three south London sites: Occupation Studios, Good Studio/Bussey Building and Benhill Road Nature Garden and a community of loosely connected people documented in the publication The Worm is Turning: A Symbiotic Association_publication. The project engaged with an underused and rare patch of public land and those who care for it through sculpture, writing and conversation. A Symbiotic Association taped into local lore through storytelling and exchange and draws attention to what lies beneath our feet.
