Indigo pigment and gold leaf are used in this work to reference the tradition in art of a prescient power to illuminate what cannot yet be seen or understood. In this philosophical drawing device, an image of a geometric folding cosmos, a sort of magic square/time machine/fortune teller, has been created as a focus for playful contemplation (of everything actual and imaginable).
